CONSULTING
I recommended using the above printed and internet tools to reach maximum number of supporters.
WEBSITE/ Blog
I showed several options for the look and feel, and collaborated on content.
I designed a special portal with a picture of a lotus bud which is about to burst open and changes colors, a symbol of the Ashram as 'A Place for Transformation'.
We opened a Paypal account and I created a system to receive online donations to fund this project and to raise funds for building projects.
I managed fundraising and ad sales, and the layout of advertisements. To advertise the blog, we printed postcards and small posters, and made two email blasts to the existing mailing lists and new contacts.
BOOK COVER & PHOTOGRAPHY
The design process for the book cover was started by the client liking the idea of a collage and I presented several rough mockup ideas for discussion purposes.
After the client chose a final design for outside and inside covers, I made the proper Photoshop layouts below.
I created a special anniversary logo to symbolize the 'Vedic Fire Ceremony', for which the Ashram is known, and a background symbolizing the 'Blue Sky'.
I photographed buildings, nature and people, and refreshed and retouched old photos.
